If you weren’t able to attend this game, then you missed out on the best game of the year. The Rockies were on target for an undefeated season. The only problem was that they had to play us to get there. Trapper and McKade led the pitching charge and countless players ran the bases. All the other fields had emptied while the battle against the Rockies waged on. The fierce battle lasted 5 innings and in the end, The Mighty Mets were victorious.
I actually believe we won because of a curse put on the Rockies by Thomas. Or maybe he was just scratching his head. Thomas always keeps the games fun to watch.
What a nice day for a ball game. We had a fun game. The kids did a great job of running the bases and listening to the coaches. McKade had a few magic pitches up his sleeve that surprised the coaches as well as his dad. We also were suprised my the magical red mohawk.
What a great game. I think the pitcher of the opposite team saw a bullseye on some of our players. Six of our players were hit by him. Or maybe it was because those six players were wearing a red hat. It’s ok to cry in baseball if you get hit. Just be sure to blow your mom a kiss so she knows that you are ok.
Our hard work is paying off!!! We played great defense today. Our pitchers, Kory, “Big Mac”, and “Gunner” did a fantastic job. Our fielders were able to throw out two runners and caught a couple of pop-ups. “Ace” and Bryson had some clutch hits. Way to go team!
The weather was a bit cold, but we were ready to play. It was a pretty low scoring game, but we won! “Nater” had his pitching debut today and did a great job. Unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries, so I wasn’t able to capture Nater in his debut. Let me know if you have any pictures that you would like uploaded to any of the photo galleries.
What a beautiful day for a baseball game. Our bats were still on fire from last game. Congratulations to Trapper for hitting the first homerun of the season.
